1. Consultation and Trial: Consultations and Trials are optional and are available to the bride or any member of their bridal party that is scheduled for or considering services on the wedding day.
Location: I service clients within my home or personal studio in Eau Claire wi. You will travel to me for the trial. I may travel to you, upon request for an additional travel fee. Please keep in mind, that I may not be local to your area, so you may need to travel up to 1-1 1/2 hours.
Scheduling: Please keep in mind, I reserve my bridal season (June-October) and many weekends during the slow season primarily for weddings, so scheduling your trial Friday-Sunday may be challenging. Trials are typically held Monday-Thursday between the months of November-May. Some exceptions may be made for out-of-state brides or bookings scheduled close to the wedding date.
Rates/Cancellations: The bridal trial is included in the selected bridal package. A payment of $200 is required at the time of your trial appointment. This payment is not an additional fee and will be applied towards the total package cost. This payment can be made directly to Ahna at the time of the trial with your choice of cash, card, or Venmo for payment. If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, it may be canceled and a late fee of $25 will be applied to the final bill. A 24-hour notice is required if you need to reschedule your trial. There will be a $25 per service cancellation/no-show fee if you are unable to make your scheduled appointment without providing at least 24-hour prior notice.

2. Booking Date Retention Fee: To schedule and secure your wedding date, a non-refundable, non-transferable $100 Date Retention Fee is due along with a signed bridal contract. The remaining balance will be due two weeks prior to the day of the event.
This fee covers:
Your initial service assessment to prepare and ensure I am best meeting your dream wedding look.
Admin services which include: stylist/artist booking, scheduling, consulting and communication.
Planning, organizing and perfecting the day of event service timeline.
Revisions or modifications to desired services or timelines as requested and agreed upon.

3. Contracted Services Cancellation/Modifications: Because Ahna reserves the date and, after the contract signing and initial payment are made, the client may not reduce the number of services booked. Cancellations must be made at least 180 days prior to the client’s reserved date, or the client will be responsible for paying the full number of services agreed upon in their contract. If the Client cancels the contract prior to the 180 days, the date retention fee and any additional monies paid towards the final balance are non-refundable and a cancellation fee of $150 will be charged to the credit card on file. If Ahna needs to cancel the contract at any time, for any reason, the date retainer fee and any additional monies paid will be refunded (not including any trial payments). Any additional hair or makeup needs not contracted and invoiced will only be performed at the discretion/availability of Ahna and are a separate fee due when the services are rendered.
4. Stylist/Artist's Obligation: Ahna is acting as a non-exclusive independent contractor for the client. To perform contracted services is subject to the unavailability of Ahna as a result of sickness, accidents, acts of God and other reasons beyond Ahna’s control. In the event that such should occur, Ahna will not be responsible for any damages. The client understands that the limitation of their remedy will never exceed the dollar amount of monies paid by the client, with a maximum dollar amount equal to the contracted balance minus the date retainer fee.
5. Communications: Client understands that communication must be professional and go through the bridalandbeautybyahna@gmail.com email address only. Texting or direct messages via Instagram or Facebook Messenger are not Ideal forms of communication. Client must communicate with Ahna through email with all questions, concerns, modifications & updates.
6. Preparation: Ahna plans to arrive and begin setting up 10-15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Client agrees to arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Clients receiving hair services must arrive with clean/dry hair. Clients receiving makeup services must arrive with a clean/moisturized face. If a client arrives without clean hair or skin they will be requested to cleanse and we will complete their service after all other clients are completed if time allows. On-site location requirement instructions will be provided to you prior to the event and must be followed. Fees may be charged if I am asked to help prepare hair/skin for service or if on-site location requirements or not fulfilled.
7. Delays: Delayed start fees will be incurred if a client arrives more than 5 minutes late. A delayed start fee will not apply for the initial 5 minutes after the scheduled start time, however, $10 will be charged for every additional 5 minutes of delay when the client is late for the scheduled start time, after the first 5 minutes. This fee also applies if scheduled services exceed the allotted time because of client delays. Clients should be readily available to be in the service chair at all times. Any late fees assessed will be due for payment on the day of the event.
8. Travel/Parking Fees: Travel fees apply for additional travel beyond 50 miles (round trip) of Eau Claire and will be charged at a rate of $1.00 per mile. In the event there are parking, valet, or toll fees paid by Ahna, this amount will be included with the final bill and due for payment on the day of the event.
9. Booking Dates & Times: I will determine a start time that coordinates with my schedule, you, and your venue. Once all services are completed, I will leave. Contract end times may not be modified unless agreed upon by you and I. Each group booking requires a certain length of time to be finished and is not to exceed the time limit. Some individual services may consume more or less time than we average. When reserving your date, please understand that I do not want a scheduled time-slotted client timeline. Clients involved in appointments need to be immediately available as needed, in the case that I am ahead of schedule. All services must be completed in consecutive order with no gaps in between. Due to potential scheduling conflicts, if any person is not available for an appointed booking time, then his or her service may be canceled (at the sole discretion of me) and all monies will be forfeited and will not be refunded.
10. Touch Ups: Upon completion of each service, each client will view and approve the finished look. When all clients are completed, I will offer minor touch-ups as I feel necessary.
11. Additional Stylist: There is a 4 adult service minimum, for all Friday-Sunday weddings through the months of April-October, as well as holiday bookings year round. Typically each service is completed within 20-45 minutes. Ahna is an independent artist therefore the client is responsible for outsourcing additional artists if advised by me.
12. Unsanitary, Infectious or Unsafe Conditions: I reserve the right to refuse services if unsanitary conditions exist and/or contagious infections are present. Client understands and acknowledges that Ahna will not provide services where any contagious infections such as pink eye (conjunctivitis) or cold sores/fever blisters are present and there shall be no refund. Client acknowledges and agrees that verbal abuse towards Ahna is unacceptable by any person at the event and shall be grounds for the Ahna to cease services immediately. Client acknowledges that they will not be entitled to a refund for any work.
13. Exclusivity Clause: The client hereby grants Ahna subject to the terms and conditions of this agreement, the sole and exclusive right to provide all requested artistry services agreed to herein during the term of this agreement. This includes being the exclusive makeup artist and/or hair styling team hired on the day specified in this contract. Any outside stylist/artist hired by the client (or anyone in the client's party on-site), must be communicated prior to the signing of this agreement. This ONLY applies to the artistry (hair and/or makeup) we are contracted for. If another makeup artist or hair stylist is providing services on the day specified in this contract, the client will be subject to a breach in exclusivity fee of $150.00. This amount will be charged to the card on file.
14. Service Location, Requirements and Relocation: Location of service for the day-of-event will be at the discretion of the client, but there are certain requirements Ahna needs to complete the services. Working electrical outlets must be made available for use. A table/work area, chair as well as ample lighting, whether by means of natural or by lamps is necessary for services to be performed properly. If you request Ahna to pack up and change locations for any reason, this must be pre approved and is subject to a relocation fee.
15. Airfare and Accommodations: All bookings with travel over 2 hours require a $200.00 stipend on top of the travel fee to cover lodging. All costs for travel to a booked event are to be paid by client. Costs may include, but not limited to: airfare, hotel, transportation, parking, per diem, service incidentals and all taxes.
Overnight Accommodations (lodging): For bookings requiring travel exceeding 2 hours one way, overnight accommodations the night before the wedding will be required to ensure timely arrival and service. A flat fee of $200 will be added to the final invoice. I will book my own accommodations within a reasonable distance from the getting-ready location or venue. Failure to make payment may result in cancellation of services with no refund of any retainers or deposits paid.
16. Optional Add-On Services & Policies:
1. Hair Extension Rental
Fee: $125 + $100 refundable deposit
Description: Temporary clip-in extensions made of 100% remy human hair, provided to enhance volume, length, or thickness for the wedding day.
Terms of Use & Return:
Client accepts full responsibility for the proper care and handling of rented extensions. Extensions must be kept free of damage, tangling, or excessive product buildup. Extensions must be returned in person or shipped back within three (3) business days following the event date. If shipping, client must provide valid tracking information and a receipt of shipment within the same three (3) business days. Failure to return or provide proof of shipment within this timeframe may result in the forfeiture of the $100 deposit.
Deposit Refund & Damage: The $100 deposit will be refunded upon receipt of the extensions in their original, undamaged, and clean condition.
Extensions that are lost, excessively soiled, damaged, or otherwise rendered unusable will result in full forfeiture of the deposit and may incur additional replacement fees, which client agrees to pay within seven (7) days of notification.
2. Hourly Touch-Ups
Rate: $75 per hour, per artist (1-hour minimum)
Description: On-site touch-ups for hair and/or makeup, including shine control, lipstick refresh, hair smoothing, and minor adjustments as needed.
Terms: Time will be calculated from the artist’s arrival on-site to the conclusion of touch-up services. Additional time beyond the initial booking will be billed in 30-minute increments. Client is responsible for ensuring the schedule allows adequate time for touch-ups.
3. Second Look Package
Fee: $300 (plus mandatory 20% gratuity)
Description: Includes a full hair and/or makeup change on-site and up to three (3) consecutive hours of standby time for touch-ups, look prep, or assistance during the transition.
Terms: Any time beyond the included three (3) hours will be billed at the standard Hourly Touch-Up Rate per artist. Gratuity is automatically applied and non-negotiable.
4. Rehearsal Dinner Glam
Hair OR Makeup Only: $150
Hair & Makeup: $275
Gratuity: 20% gratuity applies and will be added to the final invoice.
`Description: Hair styling and/or makeup application provided for the rehearsal dinner or other pre-wedding events.
5. Next-Day Bridal Shoot / Post-Wedding Glam
Hair OR Makeup Only: $175
Hair & Makeup: $350
Gratuity: 20% gratuity applies and will be added to the final invoice.
Description: Hair styling and/or makeup application provided for post-wedding celebrations, such as next-day brunches or bridal photo shoots.
6. General Policies for All Add-On Services
Booking & Payment:
Add-on services must be scheduled in advance and are subject to artist availability. Full payment is required to reserve add-on services.
Client Responsibility: Client is responsible for timely communication, adherence to the event schedule, and providing a suitable workspace with access to electricity and lighting as needed.
Liability:The Artist shall not be held liable for any allergic reactions, sensitivities, or adverse outcomes resulting from the Client’s failure to disclose known allergies, skin conditions, or sensitivities.
The Artist is not responsible for damages or delays caused by circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to weather, transportation issues, or acts of God.
17. Risk/Liability: All of my supplies and products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every application. Makeup products used are hypoallergenic. Client or any other party member agrees to inform Ahna of any allergies/skin conditions they may have to any cosmetic products, prior to application. If the client has a known allergy to a particular product, the client may provide a suitable substitution if desired. By signing this contract, client assumes responsibility and agrees to release Ahna, its owners, and all employees, contracted Artist/Stylist and agents from any personal responsibility or liability for any skin complications due to sensitivity or allergic reaction from products used during services and that service is performed at the client's own risk.
18. Loss/Theft: Clients agree not to touch or use Ahna’s products and materials. Bride may be charged for the cost of any damaged, lost or stolen items by any person or child associated with the event.
19. Payments/Gratuity: Any added services, travel fees or other charges will be added by Ahna during the course of your booking and will be subject to payment by you. The final balance is due fourteen (14) days before the event as one payment - no exceptions. The person responsible for the entire balance is the person(s) who has signed the booking contract. You may pay your balance at any time through your invoice link up to fourteen (14) days before the event. 20% gratuity will be added to all invoices. Additional fees and add-ons can be paid directly to me the day of in the form of Cash, Card (subject to tax), Venmo, or Zelle. Any additional unpaid balances will be charged directly to the credit card on file (fees may apply).
20. Satisfaction: In the event that a client is unsatisfied for any reason, they MUST reach out voicing their concerns prior to disclosing any information publicly. While I do not offer refunds, I am always more than happy to work with you to help resolve any issues.
21. Photo Release: Ahna Andersen reserves the right to take photos and recordings of their work for business promotion and advertising usage. Client(s) agrees to release any and all claims regarding use of his/her image for such purposes. Client(s) also agrees to release the name and contact information of professional photographers and/or videographers used for recording any event for which the stylist/artist has been contracted to work. Client(s) agrees to release to Ahna use of photographs and recordings. This signed agreement serves as a release to client(s), photographer/videographer and authorizes them to release Ahna and its owners, agents, and employees any photographs/recordings to use on any promotional materials Ahna deems necessary.
22. Severability: If any provision or provisions of this agreement shall be held to be invalid, illegal, unenforceable or in conflict with any of the law(s) of any jurisdiction, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired thereby.
23. Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties, and no modification to this Agreement shall be valid unless such modification be put in writing.
24. Electronic Signatures: Client understands and agrees that this contract may be signed/submitted Electronically. Electronic signatures have the same force and effect as original signatures.
